View Full Version : CM40 Polishing the feed ramp to avoid broken followers

Can somebody here please post pics of before and after polishing the feed ramp on a cm40 so the followers won't break. It would really help to see the work and use that as a template. If someone already posted pics here before please provide the link.

actrually they are removing a tad bit of the bottom of the feed ramp, not just polishing it. Proably a template is not the right answer. More like trial and error for each gun might require more or less metal removed. If it wasmy cm40 and it was busint followers, I think i would now ask kahr to pick it up and send it back tothem and let them do the rampectomy. that way u don't void any chances of warranty refusal downt he road. Kahr has been very fast about getting these gun back to the owners. If they fokk up ur barrel doin the rampectomy, they wll just replce it, If u fokk it up, it is gonna cost u. take a couple weeks off witht hegun ad let kahr have it back. Jsut my 21 cents on this.

Thanks for the sound advice Jocko, contacted Kahr and they are setting up a RMA now.
