Received my PM9 yesterday, have started the search for a good CCW holster. Am leaning towards a IWB. Would like to hear your thoughts, is there "one" holster you favor above all others ? The one that you would never consider getting rid of. I am looking to carry under a T-shirt, with as little "print" as possible. The handgun was purchased for touring the western U.S on my bike this summer. Am looking for a starting point/good suggestions on the right holster....TIA !

not going to do that tour on that 51 Pan head are u???? I ride my 2010 street glide with my PM9 in my front pocket 24/7, never interfers with my riding style either.

You mgiht want to refer to the kahr tech section and hit on PROPPER PREPPING OF YOUR NEW KAHR. Might help you out some what.

I think for me, as a new PM9 owner, I see really two modes of carrying the
PM9. One would be Pocket Carry. For that and depending on what type of dress you need to be carrying in, it's hard to beat the DeSantis Nemesis.
However, I just received a premium leather pocket holster called the "PCS Tomahawk".....it's trully a work of art. I carried it for the first time today
wearing a suit to church. It's got a lot of promise after it finishes breaking in.

The second mode I see myself carrying the PM9 is IWB strong side.
The most versatile, functional and comfortable IWB on the market is the Comp-Tac M-Tac (imho). Like the Crossbreed Supertuck it has a very thin profile, and like the CB it spreads the load across a wide pancake like base.
However, I like the "finished" leather facing my body on the M-Tac and I also like the great range of adjustability for ride and cant on the M-Tac that you don't have with the CB. Another bonus of the M-Tac is the fact that you can swap out the kydex shells for different model guns and use the same base.
So for the "one" holster that's indispensable for me, would be the M-Tac.

Hope this helps,

Michael-

Appreciate all the suggestions. Started to look at Milt Sparks VM 2, a 7/8 month wait (too long).

Jocko:
Sold my old 51 Pan in 2002, had that ride for over 20 years. A lot of history and a lot of blood ! They put her in a crate and shipped it to Japan, broke my heart. I now have a 2006 Road King Classic, this thing actually has suspension (a good thing for a old gray beard), I do miss that Pan though !

This is the one I use Comfort Carry (http://www.jndtactical.com) it is a great holster for a very good price. I IWB. I wear it everyday all day long. It hides the weapon holds it secure is light and comfy. A very good deal!

You might want to give Craig Chadwick at Lightning Arms a call.
Lightning Arms Sports (http://www.lightningarms.com)

They are a stocking dealer for Sparks and often have VMII's in stock of
the more popular models. If not already in inventory they probably have orders
already in the pipeline and can get you into a VMII a lot faster than ordering
from Sparks. The VMII is trully an awesome premium rig and extremely well made.

That said, if you are considering a traditional leather IWB, there's an up an coming holster maker named Adam Bon. (Overland Gunleather)
Overland Gunleather- St. Louis, MO (http://overlandgunleather.com)

Adam's work is every bit equal to the other big name premium holster makers but his prices are relatively lower and his wait time is more like 4 weeks.
I had Adam make me an IWB for my Glock 26 with some custom features
and he got it to me in about 3 weeks. Plus he's a super guy to work with,
very customer service oriented and great communications. I'm seriously considering having him make me another for my PM45.
Here's my G26 rig:

Jocko, you speak of pan heads, that's my language now. The old man taught me well there. Of course I still prefer a hardtail, and consider a shovel head a Japanese scooter. Remind me and I'll tell you about the last one I built for me.

I have a similar holster in the Crossbreed minituck.

See Minituck (http://crossbreedholsters.com/IWB/tabid/56/CategoryID/1/List/0/Level/1/ProductID/6/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName%2cProductName)

The one pictured is the horsehide option. My holster is all black. Fit and comfort are outstanding. It fits both my PM40 and T40, and I expect it will fit the P40 Covert I just bought. For the longer gun, the SuperTuck might be better, getting some leather under the full barrel length. The MiniTuck fits like it is custom made for a PM. They make no distinction in fit for any Kahr model unless .380 or fitted with a lasergrip.

From what I have researched, crossbreed mini-tuck seems like a comfortable IWB. everyone that has them likes them.

Look at High Noon holsters. I love my Split Decision. Reasonably priced, no wait, very comfortable, and highly concealable .

I received my Minituck this weekend. It took me a few tries to get the right ride height but now I'm happy. It's a little stiff, but should break in nicely. This is my first Crossbreed after having a bunch of Comp-Tac MTAC's. I'll give it a couple of more weeks to make a comparison between the two.

Apparently, they have ended that agreement with Milt. What they have in stock is all they got, maybe you could work a deal out with them in that case...

I just ordered a "Jr Dual Carry" from DM BUllard, I've heard good things about their product but don't actually own one yet. I'll let you know how it works out once I get it.

I ordered a Minituck for the time being. I have a TT gunleather on order but a 20 plus week wait. Here is a picture of my TT gunleather with my EMP in it. This is a very comfortable rig and I wear it about 12hrs a day.

Don't know if Crash is still here, but I just posted the below in a similar thread and thought to offer the same to him.

The PM9 is very well suited to the Tucker Silent Thunder IWB holster. It is a clip on with a single belt clip (available in 3 styles), adjustable cant, leather inside and Kydex outside which preserves the finish, and it is just terrific to wear all day. I carry mine from morning to bedtime. I even have a soft shoulder holster for casual wear but prefer my ST. I don't have any affiliation with Tucker except as a very happy customer. You can see excellent pics of it in this link: got a Silent Thunder for my MK9 (pic heavy) (http://kahrtalk.com/holsters-gear/663-got-silent-thunder-my-mk9-pic-heavy.html#post5137)

If a holster is listed to fit the MK9, will it fit the PM9?
