Purchased a brand new PM9 in April and have had nothing but problems!! Someone please help me! 600+ rds and climbing thru it, here we go:
-I followed all of the prep instructions, 200+ rd break in, lube etc
-I can't for the life of me get it to FTF/FTE, stovepipe etc what am I doing wrong?
-I've tried everything and I just can't seem to get any ammo to nose dive. I have fed it every brand imaginable. What gives?
-The mag drops freely every time I change it. It won't get stuck, why?
-The mag followers won't break, I am confused??
-This is the biggest problem, it shoots STRAIGHT!
Should I send it back? Please help! :D:D

I'm only going to post this once, so pay attention ...
- I followed all of the prep instructions, 200+ rd break in, lube etc -- This is where you started to go wrong, so of course it's all going to be downhill from here.
- I can't for the life of me get it to FTF/FTE, stovepipe etc what am I doing wrong? -- This is one is easy to explain, but harder to actually do ... before you use your ammo, take the bullet out and empty half of the powder out and then put the bullet back in. If it doesn't go back in perfectly don't worry about it. If that doesn't work I don't know what to tell you.
- I've tried everything and I just can't seem to get any ammo to nose dive. I have fed it every brand imaginable. What gives? -- When you rack the slide you have to be sure to hold onto it ... don't just let it go right away ... ride the slide a little bit and then let go.
- The mag drops freely every time I change it. It won't get stuck, why? -- Try putting a drop or two or super glue anywhere on the upper part of the mag before you insert it.
- The mag followers won't break, I am confused?? -- What can I say ... sometimes some things just go right ... go figure.
- This is the biggest problem, it shoots STRAIGHT! -- This one is easy ... don't squeeze the trigger slowly ... jerk it ... especially right as the sights are all lined up ... and the quicker the jerk the better.
I hope this helps.

This problem seems to be occurring with too much regularity to be merely a fluke. I don't give a fluke, so I'm not sure that I can help. I think that Jocko pointed you in the right direction if that prepaid mailer has my address on it. If worse comes to worse, I'll replace your Kahr with a KelTec.

You guys are making me feel so much better. Bought my CM9 new in January. Put the 1500th round through it today. Having the exact same problems as you are. I have felt so alone. Haven't modified it in any way. Bought 2 new mags in March. Even they are flawless. Thank you for your posts. I don't feel nearly so insecure now.

I'll contact Kahr and have them fire everyone in quality control.
Don't worry we'll get to the bottom of this.

Loan it to a Mall Ninja, they will *&($#@ it up!
I sure hope my new PM9 has the same issues.
The only downside is I won't be able to complain all over the Internet.

Stick around awhile, we have a corral full of complainers. I'm sure you can think of something to complain about.
We do have rules though and draw the line at Power Whining. Not allowed.

If you want it to malfunction properly try the following:
1. load the magazine with empty previously fired shells
2. try to slingshot one into the chamber (do not use the slide release).
3. If that doesn't get it to fail to feed go to step 4.
4. at least it will fail to fire now :)

Can't believe we've made it this far through a "problem" thread without some sort of random Glock comparison... :)
