Has anyone heard what size of shot alexis (no capital letter) was shooting in the 870? Smaller shot is not usually fatal at much distance. I have been hit at about 60+ yards dove huntin' & it stung but didn't break the skin. I believe they said he was down the hall on the fourth floor shooting down into the cafeteria. Of course, we don't know how far that was. I haven't been able to find anything on it. He may have been shooting the pistol he took off the guard too.

we talked about that today at coffee (not at starbucks) and wondered the same thing. Even )) bucks doesn';t go far to be lethal and I think only a few were wounded, most all were killed. Would be interesting to know more. Maybe HJoe Biden will know for he is a SHOTGUN FAN..

I heard a report that said that he bought the used 870 Winchester and two boxes of buck shot at a local range.

I've been in a few close qtr environments, and I can say for a fact that size does matter, unless were talking guns. :)
