So the newer Kahr PM9's have a tapered muzzle like the budget cm9 and cw9....do you think that kahr or another custom shop would customize the slide on a kahr mk9 to get that tapered look? I think it's pretty attractive.

oh my leave that MK slide the way it isl. I think the blunt nose versions like ur MK and the old style PMaretotally awesome. I think it might not be to feasable to be done either, as the cm and PM versions with the tapered slides, the slides are actually longer than your MK slide.. so they have some grind room there.. If it ain't broke don't fix it.. I can guarantee u kahr will not touch it....

Just took my slide apart and it doesn't look like there's enough material there to machine off a bevel. Like Jocko, I really like the blunt nose design. Funny. I think sometimes we just like to change to be different. I just spent some decent $$ to swap out a black plastic rifle stock in favor of a wood one and I know there are many people doing just the opposite to their rifles. To each his own.

Maybe you could swap out for a new style PM (or CM?) slide but you'd have to swap out the barrel and recoil assembly too. You might find some takers on this forum who would trade for your blunt slide. Forgive me if I'm way off. I've never compared the different slides to see if they are compatible.

MK slide will not interchangewith any polymer slides. IMO keep what u have and just buy autter complete gun . This way u do have actually two workingguns, insteadof parts that onlyt still make one complete gun...Just sayin

I think the tapered nose is unattractive since it takes away from the natural lines of most guns.

Thanks. Brain fart. I think I was thinking PM blunt for PM/CM new style swap...polymer for polymer. Still not sure if that would work either.

if u swap the complete upper slide of a PM blune it will fit on the cm frame, if u swap the completeupper slide of the cm new style, it will fit on the pM blunt frame. The frames are the same, but all the uppers hav eto go as one unit, due to about .020 length in the beveled slides over the blunt nose beauties.
