How do you decide between which of these two models to get? They look almost identical.
Which model has less problems?
If you were to shoot each of these guns could you tell any difference?
How to determine which model is for you?

Do a forum search on your question. There are tons of threads already on this topic. I have a CM9. Functionally it's the same gun and I saved a couple hundred $$$.

Exact same gun, cm9 is the economical model. I would get the cm9, several hundred cheaper.

Forum member ripley16 has posted this excellent image before. It details the differences between the CW9 and the P9. The same details (with the exception of magazine capacity, CM/PM 6/9mm) apply to the CM9 - PM9 pistols.

The PM can had with the DLC finish (http://www.kahr.com/Pistols/Kahr-PM9-Black.asp). It is not available for the CM.
The PM is also available in a Massachusetts approved version (LCI & external safety). The CM is not.
There are a few more sight options (mainly Meprolights) available for the PM front sight vice the CM's.
The PM can also be ordered from Kahr with night sights or laser installed.

Greg
BTW, welcome to the forums:)

Was not. Tonto's horse was "Scout". Don't go messin' with my childhood re-run memories. :)

they look almost identical. true!
which model has less problems? neither, are the same gun all intents and purposes.
if you were to shoot each of these guns could you tell any difference? the pm has special rifling in barrel, you won't notice.
how to determine which model is for you? as i said cost, $200.
the pm has different supposedly more expensive engraving. I like the way the cm markings looks better.

I was afraid of that was going to happen. That's probably why they didn't show me that CM9.

Bought the CM9 a couple of weeks ago. Took it to the range and shot head shots all day long at 7 yards-- and I'm an old man, with bad eyesight and quivering hands.
