P380 wear

Does everyone else have wear on the back of the barrel where the slide rubs over it? Also, when I look at the gun from the front, the hole where the barrel comes through the slide looks oval instead of round - and the barrel is not centered. I've only shot about 200 rounds through it.

look at a glock, same barrel configuration U have a locked breech gun, it will look like that. That gap at the top of the barrel has tobe there. the wear on the top of the chamber is normal. the slide indeed does touc h that when cycling.. Shoot the fokker like u stole it. refer to the kahr tech section and read the propper prepping of ur kahr ..

The barrel hole in the slide has to be oval. Otherwise the chamber end of the barrel could not rotate down when the slide cycles.

My new P380 had a very sharp edge on the slide where it contacted the barrel, in fact I took it down with a file before ever shooting it. Just cycling it brand new made a deep scratch in the barrel until I smoothed it out then got the scratch out.

Other than that I"ve put 500 rounds of various FMJ and JHP through it without one issue. I love the little sucker and carry it about half the time with certain shorts or jeans that con't accomidate my PM9

I carry my p380 in my shorts. It keeps people from wanting to borrow it. No sweat off my balls. By the way, it's briefs. A P380 will fall out of your boxers. Just sayin.
