I posted on this forum some time ago about having problems with the last round out of my CM9 not going fully into battery. I could shoot four or five full magazines without an issue and the the last round would not go into battery. I would tap the back of the slide, it would fire and lock open as it should. I kept shooting it until I reached Kahr's 200 round break-in period and it was still doing the same thing. I called Jay at Kahr and they asked me to send the gun back so they could look at it. I got it back recently and went to the range and put another 40-50 rounds of three different types of ammo through it, including some HP defense ammo, all three mixed in the same magazine, and it ran like a champ ! What did they do you ask?...they polished the feed ramp. The point of this is for you new Kahr owners is to listen to these experienced guys on here about the proper prep of your new gun.
I wanted to especially thank "Jocko" who helped me through this situation through our private messages back and forth.
Thanks again and be safe !

Glad it worked out for you, and thanks for the update. Kahr's warranty service is very good. I had a problem early on with my CM9 and they fixed it and sent it and sent it back in 8 days. Haven't had a problem since.

So true. I polished any and all contact areas on my CM9 and CW45 and it is now oh so smooth. Note I said polish, I didn't remove any material.

Funny...............I mentioned a while back, that I polished the ramp on my Kahr, and all of my other firearms...........and a bunch of people chimed in and said it wasn't necessary........Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

It usually isn't "necessary" but that doesn't mean it's not a good thing.
Lately especially on Kahrs, the feed ramp comes pretty mirror polished out of the box, this wasn't always the case in days past.
