Sent the gun back to kahr, mentioned in the work order that it was breaking followers and that the gun was shooting to the right a bit, and wanted them to see if the machine marks on the barrel hood were ok or not, it had pretty significant ridges, lines on the hood.

Gun was gone about three weeks and it was returned to me after that.
They had replaced the barrel, and I guess fitted it, it shoots to the point of aim now and is still 100% reliable.......BUT........I checked to see if I had contact on the barrel ramp when the magazine was inserted into the gun.....and I had contact...and a line on the follower where it was getting hit.

It was still going to break followers....not wanting to send the gun back and wait some more for my precious, I took some sand paper and sanded on the front of the follower where it was making contact, basically just removing enough material so that it would not get hit......as of this point no broken follower and still perfect reliability and I didn't even have to modify my barrel ramp....problem solved! And avoided warranty issues.....

Love this little gun.

Btw remora holsters rock!

My follower broke and they sent me a new follower. If you don't mind my asking, how exactly do you check for contact? It's kinda hard to see.

With the slide locked back, push the barrel back as far as it will go and then insert the mag and look and see if the barrel moves a little bit when the mag seats.

Good Deal. Remora now has a leather lined model for 10 bucks more. Should hold its size better. Glad things worked out for you....so far..

i got the leather lined one because some has said its a little thinner.
its molding itself around the gun, like good leather should, i really like the holster.

Very nice Remora. I don't have the leather lined model. Didn't have them when I purchased mine....but I still love it. My next one will be the leather lined...if mine ever wears out. The PM and Remora both wear like iron.
