Hello,

I am trying to determine if the below Kahr PM9 with an external safety and lci has the enhanced trigger or not. It seems from reading on this forum if it has the Beveled edge it is the enhanced trigger. the problem is even with looking at pictures of both styles it is hard to tell.

Thanks.

sorry - no answers?

It's my understanding that the "enhanced trigger" comes on all the safety/LCI models. It has nothing to do with the beveled edge. They changed to that awhile ago. So if it has a safety, it also has the enhanced trigger which is 1/8inch shorter than the regular trigger.

Also not to be confused with the "elite" trigger which has been covered here many times...

u kinda answered what I have said before. If u can't tell the diferenc ein the enhanced trigger over ur elite trigger(which is only 1/8" difference.) then IMO most cannot swear either way what the hell they have.

I can tell you the enhanced trigger only comes on the kahrs with an external manual safety, but I am not sure of they offer the standard elite trigger on kahrs with the manual safety.. Just sayin

I bought one this morning. My guess is they only had one since it was out of stock shortly after I bought one.

I notice that kahrs still offers the BLACK ROSE PMJ9 with the jocko blunt nose ONLLY. Kinda tells methey made more of those than they have maybe thought they could sell. If ur after a blunt nose PMJ9, this would be a dandy gun to own. Just sayin

your Hinterland pic is of a blunt-nose too ---- with the manual safety. I'll be curious to see if it arrives that way --- would be a great bonus (for those of us who prefer the "jocko-blunt" slides). Good luck and great buy!

nowisn't that interesting tosee. I did not knowthe enhanced version was offered in the blunt nose version. Makesw no sense to me but pictures don't lie (I think)

be interesting to see what gun he actualy gets to..My betit willbe the beveled slide to,, asthatis whatthe kahr webb site shows. Some mess indeed, but wehave a few enhanced owners on this forum and they have never reported the blunt noxe version..

very interesting Watson. Just sayin

I already called Hinterlnad and the manufacture date is August 2013 with a 1E* serial number so it has the enhanced trigger. It seems they need to update their pictures like many other web sites selling Kahr pistols.

I kinda figured that. That photo might have been a prot type before the made the beveled slides. I am very sure though that any BLACK ROSE will be the blunt nose version. If I was younger I would buy one of thse black roses PMJ9 and just sit there and stroke it. something that today at my age, it aina't worth stroking Just sayin
