Acquired my first Kahr today in a trade, and gotta say I am really impressed with this gun, from what I understand there were only 25 of these modified by Wilson, whats the opinions on this gun? Its going to the range sometime next week and Ill let youall know how it does

I can see in one of the pictures that the grip has been etched with a stippling? What other mods did Wilson do with these?

here is what i found out so far
An extremely rare pistol. It was manufactured in 1998 by Kahr and then sent to Wilson Combat. It has a hard chromed frame and an armor tuff slide, action job and a trigger job, slide stop beveled and mag well beveled and 30 lines per inch front strap checkering. It is a single digit serial number, they made 25 K9's and 50 K40's. Its extremely tight and smooth and the trigger is impressive. It came with the original box paperwork and 2 magazines

With that serial number, you should start introducing yourself as "6172, James 6172".
Nice find. I wonder if these were the inspiration for the Elite '98 model?

Until your post I was unaware of that limited edition model. People here know I'm partial to the two-tone black-over-metal ... I may have to begin another search.
