So I finally pulled the trigger on some Talon grips for my CM9, just installed them and I have to say it really adds the perfect amount of grip to the gun. I got the rubberized. So far its awesome, love the feel of it. Now my only concern is not having the grips peal up. We will see what happens, only time will tell.
Sorry for the crappy pics.

I have had mine for a few months with several hundred rounds. I will never not have them on my kahr. Make it feel so damn good!! I haven't had any peeling issues, thanks for sharing and nice pics! I'm gonna add some hope you don't minds.

I really like the Talon grips. I have them on the PM9 and the P380. Gives a great gripping surface while shielding your hand from the aggressive checkering on the frame.

Nope I don't mind pics at all. Now I just need to go to the range and test them out.

So, Talon grips are stick on rubber? How long will they hold up to everyday carry?
Just curious. I had Agrips that lasted about 3 yrs before they started to come off. I loved them, but am getting used to the standard grip now.

They have two versions, sand paper gritty, or rubberized. I have heard people using them for a VERY long time without an issue. I know hickock45 on YouTube swears by them and puts them pretty much on every gun.

So does the rubberized version feel sticky? I have to look into them. Thanks.

I've had Talons on my PM9 for a year and a half. I've carried it nearly every day and have put several thousand rounds through it (lost exact count). They are stuck tight and show no signs of wear.

Any tricks to putting them on? I just ordered a set after reading these posts. CM9.

Make sure your grips are really clean and they'll stick forever. First set I ever put on I didn't and they did start to peel a bit on the edges. Use some rubbing alcohol, just make sure any gun cleaner, gun oil, general dirt/grime is gone. Also, second is once you have them on, a hairdryer for a few minutes really helps the adhesive to soften and get down into the nooks and crannies.

I found them very easy to install and I have about a half a dozen thumbs. They really are cut well and have a nice fit. After I installed them I heated them up a little with a blow dryer and pressed them down firmly.

What they all said, clean, go slow and use a hair dryer at the end. Get nice and warm and just grip the gun like you are shooting. I hated the granulated ones, the rubber are perfect. Mine didn't come with the K cut out, glad though.

I preferred the rubber as well. I don't use them anymore. Had them on my P9 when I was carrying it. But once I decided to sell it (which I haven't yet) and transitioned to my TP9 for carry, they don't make the talons for my TP9. Would really like to have them. I talked w/ the original owner back before he passed away and he didn't have plans to offer the TP version b/c he couldn't lay hands on the gun to cut them just right. There is enough of a difference that just putting P9 grips (one full, one cut down) on didn't really work that well (we tried it).

Still, hands down the best (IMO) grip solution for a Kahr. Great product.

I've used the Talon grips on my LCP for about a year and half and they are still doing great. Don't know about how they will do on the PM9 but expecting them to be just as good. Love the way they feel, so even if I get a year out of them they are worth the $18 bucks.

I purchased a pm9 about 2 months ago and ordered Talon grips soon after. The shipping time for the grips was 2 to 10 days. After 10 days I still had not received them so I contacted Talon and they shipped out a new set right away, with no questions asked.

Now they are installed and are a big improvement to an already great gun. Talon makes a good product and they back it up with good customer service. Win/win.

I like the Talon (rubberized) grips I installed on my G26 -- still debating wether or not to pick them up for my P380....

Have used Talon grips for a long time, never had any problems. I have them on almost every gun I own, even a home made set for my TC Contender. All are the rubber except my M&P Pro9, it has the granular grips but is only a competition gun. These are great for sweaty hands, but they don't work well for carry(sticks to your clothes, been there).
I can't post pictures (new member). Wish I could share some pictures of a great product and a super company to deal with.

Just recently bought a CM9, have a set ordered for it, will probably become my carry if it performs well. I bought it used and didn't notice the trigger connecter was badly worn where it contacts the slide because of a couple of burrs where the slide was milled. Have one ordered, don't want to shoot it until it is replaced. Contacted Kahr about the badly machined slide, but haven't heard anything from them. Not a good way to start with my first Kahr and maybe last.

For a really comfortable grip try the Talon rubber grips under the Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove.

Looks just like mine! I have had mine on the gun for about 5 or 6 months, still looks great, feels great, and carried often. I think the key here is CLEAN THE GUN as much as you can to assure no peeling.

I did not trim mine i took the excess from where it wraps around the front of the grip and tucked it under the one side

Just a couple of tips:

1. Try not to press down at all on the edge where you first begin the wrap, as you'll need to tuck the end of the wrap under that edge. The initial edge will likely still stick to the body, but if you avoid putting any pressure on it, you can lift the edge easily. After you get the wrap tucked, then you can begin pressing and rubbing, heating with a dryer, and repeating a few times.

2. On the polymer body of the Kahrs, pay extra attention to the removable panel near the rear of the slide when you're cleaning it with alcohol. If you have an oily slide, oil can seep through the small cracks in that blow-out/access panel. I cleaned inside and outside that removable panel area to prevent any capillary action of oil migrating to the surface of the polymer grip while I was applying the Talon rubber grip over it.
