Broke in my new CM9 yesterday. Shot 150 rounds of Federal and 100 rounds of WWB. Shot very well once I got a feel for the sights and trigger. No FTE, FTF, slide lock issues, or anything. I'm sure the prep I did from Jackos thread contributed to the CM9 running like a well oiled machine. It may take me a while to put 32k rounds though it though!

That's awesome, good to hear that it's running well. I have not broken mine in yet, hoping I have the same results to report.

LOL, Jocko, you've been renamed. Jacko, does this mean you go around wearing one white glove and grab your crotch a lot? Wasn't that what the Brits called Michael Jackson? No offense meant to Gearhead. Just having some fun with your typo.

Given that it was a typo, how do we know jocko didn't write it?

I think its a given that he couldn't spell Jacko. I'm actually stunned that he can even spell Jocko on a regular basis.
What if...Jocko thinks he's been Jacko the whole time...this will be a shocker

I can spell, lets not rename ol jocko. Been this way for 70 years, and oh yes I do grab my crtoch often. At my age alot of things tend to go away, so I keep in touch with the little boys as often as I can.
Fokk MIchael JACKO though. I miss him like a caseof hemrroids. Just sayin

A word of warning. There is only so much abuse that old Jocko can take. I haven't reached that limit yet, but I'm trying. :)

back on topic (I think), you have a fine firearm for concealed/deep concealed carry. Carry with confidence.
Now, as for the Jacko/Jocko issue ....... don't sweat it ..... it's not an issue :D

These guys are a bunch of sissies. You can tell by the number of them who went from the stock cheese grater grips to stippling. (See pics, Jocko's PMJ9)

How does stippled grips compare to aftermarket talon grips?
Also, how do you guys chamber your +1 round? I insert a full mag and hit the slide release and then add another round into the mag. My friend said he just drops a round into the chamber, hits the slide release, then inserts the mag. I recall reading in the manual that method can damage the extractor?

Your description is the best method.
DO NOT drop a round into the chamber.
Load mag. Drop slide (whatever method works for you)
Drop mag. Load +1 round.
Insert mag into gun. Holster.

Thanks guys, good to know I'm doing it correctly.
I'll let my buddy know that he may want to change his habbit... would hate for him to find out his extractor is damaged in a SD situation.
