A year ago I decided I needed to buy all the carry guns I'd need just because of the crazy laws proposed, and all the ammo I'll need for a long time. I'll be okay but a lot of folks won't. If you live in CA and see a future need I advise getting it now if you can.
Remember, gun model that is "safe" today will leave the list when it expires. There is a backlog of guns to be tested for approval on the safe gun list in CA and they may be tossed as not micro stamped. So expect a long dry period for all law abiding citizens of CA. I suspect the demand will increase and so will gun theft so protect what you have.

Nothing makes me happier than to see California disarmed and reap the rewards of their foolish behavior.

Standing invite to you and yours Old Lincoln. Come on up. I'll share my toys. The California influence is here also but hasn't taken complete control yet. Might have to move eventually but we're ok for now.
You do have to let me hold "Dad's Colt" though. I'll be gentle and not drool.

yep I didn't even mention the legislation against lead bullets that I heard passed. Not sure if it is strictly for hunting though. Need to dig more
Its bad here.

Knkall, Yeah, that one is only hunting which I thought was already law.
Bawanna, I'd sure like to come up for a spell and I wouldn't think of visiting you without Dad's Colt. Might even have a tear or two as we toast the fine man. Don't know when my bride will be up to it anyway. Just something to daydream about.
I remember in 1970 when we were healthy we made the trip and simply loved Seattle. Of course they told us they were in the middle of a 100 year drought as it hadn't rained all week.

I see an expanded black market in illegal guns coming to California.

turns out it was originally for 8 counties now it is state wide. This is a stepping stone for all ammo though. We know that-right?
Also there is a tax proposed on ammo too. Supposed to go to fund the mental health system. I am hearing $.05. I am guessing per round?

what a stupid fokkingstate. This wilonly app;ly to semi auto handguns, not wheel guns or long guns or anything but semi auto. and it doesn't say anything aobut 22 semi's being exempt. now how on gods green acrea are they gonna stamp a 22 shellcasing??? They ain't so there will be no new introduction of handguns in komifornia. No wonder people are leaving in droves. The state is anti business, it is pro tax of the wealthy. It promotes hom's and lesbo's, pushes free education for illegals, free health care. what a wonderful state.
the sad thing is that we all well know that this sh!t always starts on the west coast and oves east. and Wehave Arnold Schwnigger to thank for that. Here is a gun who made millions in movies killing people by the hundreds and still continues to do it but yet doesn't want to let people protect themselves.
Looks tome like wheelguns willbe the weapon of choice .

Good advice for everywhere across the country. A good mixture of calibers, semis, revolvers, bolt rifles, ARs, etc. plus a healthy store of ammo to feed them is all a good idea because we never know what's coming. Not with this administration and the goofballs who voted them in. And don't forget to lock 'em up or bury them in the back yard.

I think a ban on lead bullets would be appropriate. Lead is too soft for even deep eternal surface micro stamping to work when the law is eventually expanded to include all cartridge components. And, of course there are the children to consider...for them, eating lead has a whole different set of definitions and issues.
My son is native born Californian. He still lives there, in Goleta. I continue to offer him my sincere apologies. How the hell was I to know what was gonna eventually come about back in 1964. He continues to forgive me.

Jocko, I appreciate your zest and awareness of our shortcomings but Arnold has been long gone. Those characterizations of Calif. have been there before him and since his departure. You are right. Business is leaving this state everyday. It costs a lot of money to get this sunshine and generally decent weather.

Yup, I don't blame Awnold. He inherited a mess and like the country his best intentions are useless when 97% of the population are idiots.
Isn't Brown back again. A prime example of stupidity. He made a big mess some years back and they voted him back to continue I guess.
Home of Pelosi. I think that's why they made a Disneyland in Florida so folks wouldn't have to go to california to visit it.
