After quite a bit of research and deliberation, I finally went ahead and bought a Kahr PM45 as my first civilian carry gun. I am a very experienced shooter and have thrown thousands of 9mm and .45 down range in my time in the Marines, but this is my first non-issued firearm. I decided to go with Kahr for many reasons, but overall, I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and the Kahr has lived up to it's reputation. I also understand that when you build something with tight tolerances, things don't always line up at first, but from what I read on this forum, Kahr stand behind their product and will fix any issues post-haste. I went with the PM45 over the PM9 because a.) I am a fan of .45 ballistics and b.) it just fit my hand better. I followed Jocko's first time prep (both mags came the correct way) and cleaned it like I was getting ready for an inspection. Got out to the range twice and have put 200 rounds of TMJ and 20 rounds of JHP with no FTE or FTF. I gotta say, I am in LOVE with this trigger. I'm shooting off to the right (lefty shooter), but that's me and not the gun. Every group seems tighter than the previous (other than called fliers) so I'm sure I'll be at fist size in no time. Other than that, the aggressive checkering was eating up my palm, so I slapped some skateboard grip-tape on it and I must say, she is one comfortable gun to shoot. I even let one of they ROs at the LGS I bought it at shoot 3 rounds through it to confirm I was trowing rounds right and the sights didn't need adjusting (he put a tight group center mass). He exclaimed that he's never liked Kahr's, but after shooting mine he might just consider getting one.
So without further ado, pictures!

This is the DeSantis Cozy Partner holster. Gun is snug, but still easy to draw. I have worn it every day and I have no complaints.
