Looking for a ccw gun.

Deal #1: Kahr pm9 with two factory mags and night sights with 600 rounds through it for $595

Deal #2: kahr cw9 with four factory mags and ct laser for $550 with 200 rounds through it.

Which is better deal??

To me both are out of line. Deal #2 looks to me to be about $125-$140 to high.

Just my opinion.

I think both are too high, but of the two, I'd take the PM. I would have no use for four mags or a laser.

Both stink. Too high $ Look around read up on the reviews & be sure of what you want. I forgot to say “If it was my choice“ sorry.

I concur w/ the other assessments. The laser makes that CW prices a little better w/ the extra mags, but still nothing to jump up and down about. I'd say unless this is a LGS that you really prefer to support (which can be a good thing depending on your LGS and if they are decent folks), pass and keep searching...or go w/ the PM, better deal I think but again, you can do better.

nice thiung is thatitis sitting right in front of u the buyer, nolooking around, mail order crapola. It might be on the tad high side but it ain't givenu a fokking if u buy it either. Sometimes a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush..

I would wantto know more about each gunif possable, such as age, (by serial number) blunt nose PM9 or beveled slide PM9, there is a difference in ol jocko's mind, which is very smalland limited as u know to.:amflag:

I thought I would add that myself before muggsy read this and did it for me. Just sayin

jocko speaketh the truth on that one. I find that instant gratification beats a good deal more often than not. I have overpaid for many a gun because...well...it was there, in the case...and it spoke to me.

I'd choose door #3

NIB CW9, mount the trij nite sites, and get one extra mag

oh .... that's what I did choose three years ago :)

I got my LNIB PM9 DLC with NS for $588 out the door... tax and NIC included, and thought that was an excellent deal. I didn't know the round count, but it looked new and was almost 4 years old then. $550 would be a good deal.

I wear earplugs when I enter the store... Just sayin'. Truth is, it depends on your market. But just comparing the two: I'd prefer the PM9 and the night sights especially if it's a blunt.

Nothing wrong with paying up if it feels right. I paid a little extra to get my MK9 and never regretted it. If I had passed on that deal, I may have never tried Kahrs at all. That would have been bad.

You asked a fair question, so here's my answer ...

I would say that they are both decent enough deals, not fantastic, but not horrible ... especially if they're sitting right in front of you like somebody said. But they are apples & oranges ... night sights vs laser and PM9 being slightly smaller than the CW9. My suggestion would be to figure out what your preference on those thoughts would be and then make your decision. Some purchases can wait ... but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet.

May I suggest a third option? New CM9 for $425 and spend the money you saved on magazines and ammo.
