A couple of months back I picked up a CM40 for concealed carry. My first thought was it was going to have a hard recoil. To my surprise it was moderate. I was in the USCG for 22 years and have shot many pistols over the years. My first target at a local indoor range I ran out to 20yds. To my surprise all the rounds were on target and were grouped within 12" at center mass. Then I set a new target at 10 yds and was able to keep the group within 6" at center mass. Not bad for a first shooting I try to hit the range 1-2 times a month and now have put 250 rounds through the CM40. It is getting better each time I shoot and I am a fan.
