New skin for the MK9

I just got my holster from TT Gunleather in the mail a few days ago and I have been wearing it around breaking it in. It is about 10x better than the crap Galco holster I had before!

Here are the stock pictures of the holster I bought, but I will get some pics of the actual holster/gun combo and the mag pouch as well. I would give this holster a solid 8.5/10 as far as leather goes.

My only complaint is that the mag carrier is canted and I didn't see that in the pictures for some reason. I wish it had a straight drop for the mag carrier.

Looks good. I like a straight up mag holder myself but that doesn't look to bad either. I find mine generally want to cant a bit anyhow, could be my Beef Cake physic that causes it, not sure.

I think it's incredibly sad that holster makers make these beautiful pieces of leather art work and we have to hide them from the world.

In the waistband, under a shirt, under a vest. Just seems sad to me.

It's not just the looks.. it's also the comfort and overall superiority of brand A over brand B.

Not to mention the personal satisfaction of knowing the quality of the product you're wearing.

Pretty much the exact reasons I wear $20/pair Under Armour boxer briefs instead of the cheap, standard fruit of the loom "tighty whities."

Yes, well underwear comes in packs of 6 from wal-mart and costs all of $16. I wear boxers personally, but thats because I don't want my balls visiting my kidneys when I sit down.

Pics of the holster and mag combo on/off my body when I get home tonight. It conceals very well though I just look fat vs "OMG he has a gun!" when wearing AIWB.

Old and broken holster: Notice the tiny amount of grip space on the gun and the extra leather all around the holster. Crap. I got more hot spots with that holster than a woman in her 50's.

I do like it a lot. I carry all day and don't feel it and it requies little adjustment.

How much did that holster run you? How long did you wait to receive it? Looks like a nice holster. Just got my winthrop holster and love it so far.
