The Scouts know i was one here and there is usually a race to the door to see who gets me!

I have a very strict rule in my house. I'll start by saying that normally I'm a sucker for a kid with a sales pitch, but the kid must do the selling and the work. That is the point of that exercise, and I will not buy from the parents. I make the kids do the talking and make the pitch. They are often well rewarded for it, I just don't think it's right to let the parents sell the stuff. The parents already learned that object lesson. Just my 2.

Well call me confused. I have no idea what's going on here. Some kind of figure that's pretty normal for me I reckon.

Girl Scout Cookies and Boy Scout Popcorn. I'm a sucker for each.

I have tasteful, brass No Solicitors plaque on my front door. Even the Mormon missionaries, who inspired it's placement, have gotten the message. Seems, though, BS/GS age children often have something of a reading disability..

I was never a Scout but I did try to sell Bibles once for my school.
