New kahr convert here. I still love my glock 30 but...I bought a PM40 and love it. Prepped it massaged the follower today and decided to polish the magazines since I had the buffer wheel out. I qualified to add it to my ccw and had one FTB during my qualification which I determined to be a limp wrist. It occurred on the second round of a standing weak hand course of fire. Other than that I really like this gun. I am just as accurate as my glock and find the recoil less than my glock 30. I shot two different brands of FMJ, 165gr. and 180gr. and also ran some Hydrashock JHP 180gr. which ran flawless. I give this gun 4/5 stars...why because you cant limp wrist it so shooting off hand unsupported will take some practice. Oh I bought a talon grip for it and did not put it on. Really I don't think it needs it. It so much more comfortable than my G30 IWB!:Amflag2:

Cool!

Welcome to the forum!

You may find, as I did, that your PM40 handles a looser weak hand grip, or a relaxed strong hand grip while trying to show off your accuracy at stupid distances, better after a few hundred more rounds.

Lighter rounds also reduce the effect. With 135 grain Rangers, mine have always been impossible to make fail by "limp wristing". 180 grain Rangers definitely require a firm grip.

Here's hoping you continue to enjoy your PM40!

Welcome to the forum.

As the pistol breaks in you may be able to limp wrist it and all work out well. I can limp wrist my CM9 but I have polished all the internals on it. Your mileage with the PM40 may vary.

Yeah it was limped on the 180gr. FMJ weak hand unsupported. I couldn't notice the difference between the 165gr. compared to 180gr. Shot all 6 weak hand shots low to the left tight group too but just 16 inches off my target lol.
