Needed an AIWB rig for my CW9 and no one made one how I liked it, so I used that as a jump into the kydex world.
Also just finished an OWB for it also.
The OWB was a test, but it came out totally functional and pretty decent.
The AIWB is modeled after the PHLster Access of which I'm a big fan.
I could possibly make these for people if there's any interest.

Very good work. I like the way that you attached the clip for the holster.

Thanks.
Normally it would have black hardware, but i ran out.
Using those clips makes it tuckable, though I never actually do that.
Quick on and off though, which is nice.

Where did you get the screws that you used to hold the holster together? I get my Kydex stuff from Knife Kits . com but I don't remember seeing that fastener on their site.
Thanks

Knifekits has black hardware. I just ran out so I used some normal silver screws.
They're called Chicago screws though. The post parts.
Knifekits should have them.
I'm gonna start getting my stuff from diyholsters.com though.
You should try it. The AIWB is my second and the OWB my third ever anything made from kydex.

You really don't need that many rivets for the OWB.
I've made a few for some friends. I just use 2 on each side then one in the middle near the bottom.
Knifekits has the screws in the knife and holster making section under hardware.
I picked up some IWB clips and make my own OWB belt clips. I'm gonna try and make a paddle style as well. I make mine universal and can be worn with either type of clip.

You should make it cover the mag release so you don't bump it and release the mag while carrying it.
Nice job!
I just started making them as well.

Yeah I definitely went overboard on the rivets.
So far so good. They have all the hardware and cool clips I want, that I've been wanting to try. In a Gcode clip fan but they're so expensive. DIY has an alternative that I'm going to try.
I just placed a DIY order yesterday.
I just got a shipping notification this morning, free priority!
Surprising and impressive.
It's my first order so we'll see.
Email correspondence has been fast and great with them too.

Those clips do look nice. I wonder if u could shape them yourself with the thicker Kydex?
I'm gonna try and make a paddle type slip on holster that still tucks tight to the body. I should be able to shape the paddle out of Kydex. It's a pain to take ur belt of to remove the holster and I'm not interested in goin into a restricted area with a empty holster.

You can, I'm just not a fan of kydex clips that flex.
They'll break faster than plastic ones, and I think these ones look nicer.
For personal use it wouldn't be much of an issue, but I'd want an alternative to kydex if I sold them. Which I don't do anyway.

Looks like nice work. I have considered this but not sure it's in my skill set. How much would you charge for one like in your first photo?

Very nice holsters. If not pocket carrying I AIWB carry so can appreciate your quest to build your own.

Thanks. I exclusively AIWB carry, so I mostly went that route. The Humboldt models are the ones I sell the most of by far. It's been a fun hobby, and now it actually pays a few bills.
