Point being?? I don't like it either, but he violated the law and there's a prescribed punishment for the act. Why so indignant/surprised?

The more the people of NY suffer, the better.

"If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so."

This is what comes from electing liberals to office. As I have often stated, liberalism is a form of mental illness. If you elect people with a mental illness you should expect to see crazy laws. We only have ourselves to blame.

Screw that muggsy, I didn't vote for the idiots making these screwed up laws, did you? I would say it's the numbnut liberals that got us in this shape.

Unless you live in that jurisdiction pontifications do NO GOOD and are meaningless blather.

One million conservatives sat out the last election. Had they voted republican Obama wouldn't be in office. I voted republican. I'm blameless in all of this. I don't blame the liberals for the faults of the conservatives.

Never been to New York. Never will. As far as I am concerned it's a hostile foreign country.

Ignorance.
Sorry. Everyone has a right to their opinion. I am fed up with the NY SAFE Act as well. But it is not a reflection on beautiful upstate NY, or the fun, gun loving folks here. It is more of a NYC and political issue for which we have no control. NYC is another planet and I wish it were it's own State....

The 7 rd mag capacity limit has not done any good....obviously. My PM only holds 5-6 anyway. I can still use my M&P on the range at full capacity for competition (NRA sanctioned events).

Cuomo needs to go. But watch out...he may run for Pres. You think Ovomit is bad? Wait and see how much destruction Cuomo will create.

Understand. Most of California is beautiful as well. Both politically qualify today as paradise lost.

Obamacare's the law too. Runaway slaves were violating the law once as well.

Good point! Hmmm. I hear what you are saying but there is a BIG difference though...just sayin. I think I'll stick to the law for the time being, even though it sucks. The risk hardly seems worth the benefit when I can carry another mag and my PM only holds 5-6 in the mags anyway. But good point about the law.

.....and if you disobey it, you'll be fined
.....and if captured, they were punished

Not sayin' disobedience to flawed law is bad. I consciously violate law all the time. Just sayin' don't be surprised if there be consequences.
