Hey guys, I dont know the technical name or use for this part but it's on the right side under the slide that moves when the trigger is pulled. Presumed a internal safety but I'm noticing some bends and warping of the metal that is concerning me. Is this normal wear or should I consult a Kahr Armorer? Pics below:

I see nothing wrong in the pic. If you pull the trigger you will see it move forward and as you release it will go back. There is a cut out in the slide to allow it to move freely. As long as it doesn't bind between the slide & frame it is operating correctly.

Mine is exactly the same way. Don't worry about it. Just shoot the gun.

That wear on the edge of the trigger bar is probably NOT cause for concern, but you can easily send those images to Kahr technical support (service@kahr.com) in an email for their comment.

Mine looks similar . . . maybe a little less noticeable.
I tend to agree with TucsonMTB. That piece of metal is the disconnector on the trigger bar. It does need to "move freely" as kerby9mm states, but to operate correctly it must have enough height that when pushed down by the slide it will disconnect the trigger bar from the cocking cam. Ideally, it would have a nice smooth arc at its top (it looks like yours might, away from the edge), but the shape is not critical as long as it functions correctly.

I'll take TucsonMTB's advice and send those pics to Kahr. Safety is an absolute and I wont want to risk keeping one in the pipe at all times unless I know everything is functioning as designed. Thanks for the advice !

I remember seeing that peening on my gun and radius'ed (or ramped) the part of the slide that slams into it, which seemed to stop any further damage.

I looked at my PM. The arc is nice and smooth and the only wear is on the flat surface where is on the flat surface. See pics attached. My camera battery is going south, so the pics may not be ideal.

It looks like something caused the top arc to gouge out. Did you check the edges of your slide to see if there is any sign of wear or something sharp? Whatever caused those gouges are probably gone now. However, I tend to agree with Greg and if it is working, you should be OK. Sending the pics to Kahr is a good idea. Hopefully you can get an answer.

Oh yes, and keep it greased. But you already know that.

I would send that photo to kahr, attn; Jay. my 21 cents. That trigger bar or should I say ur trigger bar metal is soft and it should not be doin that. the slide is wearing that down, Right now it is working OK but IMO that trigger bar is not hardened as it should be. Wait tioo u hear back from kahr and p[roceed from there.
