View Full Version : pm9 and cm9 parts ????
i went to order new internal parts for my (older) pm9 and cm9...like striker, striker spring, extractor spring, extractor, etc...kahr has them listed as different parts, for pm and cm? arent they the same....with the exception of the recoil spring...arent all the internal parts for pm, cm series the same???????

I would think so, especially the parts you listed. The extractor train and striker springs are the same. All of the 9's seem to use the same parts like that... what I was told by Kahr and what I've experienced.
The striker springs are the same in all Kahrs. I put the 5-lb Wolff springs in all of mine. The P380 has smaller extractor train parts and the .45's have larger rear pins and the extractors are the same for calibers.

thanks wynn....i dont inderstand kahr logic on common parts...im assuming its for people not to get mixed up....on different models...

The PM9 parts are more expensive than the CM9 parts...:D
Back in "The day," Lincoln parts were more than Ford, Caddy parts more than Chevy for the common parts.
