Golden saber seem to have the most rounded bullet of quality jhp. That 124g +p golden saber gets my vote.

OK, I read that as breast feeding. Time to lay off the Silver Oak tonight, but I am still somewhat disappointed.

I've had good luck with Speer Gold Dots in both 124 and 147 gr loads. Winchester PDX1 also works well.

My PM9 has ate all kinds of decent jhp ammo and loves it all. No hiccups. Speer gold dots, rem golden sabres, Hornady HD, The Corbon 90 grainers. I like Gold dot 124's the best, but they all feed great.
The CM series of pistols do not have the great polish job on the feed ramp that the PM series does. That can be easily corrected however.

both my pm9 and cm9 dont like, " rem 115grn...jhp " (wallyword green 100 rnd box) they sometimes nose dive in my guns, using 6 rnd mags..but it doesnt happen with 115 fmj....now 124 grn and up it feeds everything so far....both guns have had a polish job.....seems rem jhp 115 grn slightly shorter overall length........

I have stay with two HP designs for years in a pistol. Gold Dots and XTP but carry the GD's only.

Speer 124-gr +P Gold Dots Short Barrel version... bonded, good performer for Kahr short barreled-pistols... and a favorite of large police departments... and Massad Ayoob.

Hydra-shoks cycle perfect in all my guns. I use 124 gr hydra-shoks in my pm9. I'm going to try the new federal HST's though, to see how they do. Why do you not want to run hydra-shoks anymore?
trying something new....hydrashok and golden saber are 90s technology...gold dot, hst, pdx newer better design for smaller and shorter barrel guns....

I did not know that, but I can say I have had:
CCI Gold Dot +P 124Gr
Federal HST +P 124Gr
Hornady Critical Duty +P 135Gr
Remington UMC 115Gr
All feed just dandy. Best is hard to say but for self defense I'd go with gold dot or federal hst.
mine has no issues with winchester ranger 147gr . thats what i carry for my SD ammo

Have been using some 147gr Winchester Ranger-Ts in my cm9 and cw9 and they feed and cycle the action just fine.
I may have to try some of the other 147gr varieties (HSTs & Golddots) when my stash of these gets low, depending on what is available at the time.

Since my PM9 has been broken in I haven't had any issues with ANY ammo. However,
from my reading and my limited experience you need to train with ammo that is the same or at least similar weight to your carry ammo.
It can through things off if you very too much.

Haven't shot a lot of HP through my CM9 but what I have has performed flawlessly. I have only used Winchester 115gr JHP and have shot full magazines with just HP and some that were mixed FMJ and JHP. Always went without a hitch.

I like the Hornady Critical Defense 115 FTX bullet for the CM9, my other 9's get the Gold Dot treatment.

Fed quite a bit of PDX1 (both standard velocity 147 and +P 124) thru my PM9 when I had it, never had a problem with either.

My MK40 will eat anything these days.
But during break in Winchester Ranger T-Series and Ranger Bonded worked best.
Winchester Ranger ammo seems to have a smaller HP opening than others.
I've found that ammo to feed the most reliably in all my handguns.
Even early on during break in.

That type of error comes of being weened too soon. :)

The same here.....Critical Defense is really good from short barrel pistols. Recoil is very manageable out of my CM9.

Hornady Critical Defense 115 FTX in my CM9 as well. On the plus side, everybody stocks them.

The Hornady Critical DUTY (135GRN) is a better round than the Critical DEFENSE>
There is plenty of test and reports on the web... just Google it.
I am still a fan of CCI Speer's Gold Dot +P and Federal HST +P....

No age limit on breast feeding. I am 70 and when I see a nice gal with chunkers I dream of breast feeding. Just a natural ting:Amflag2:

I can only comment on the defense ammo that I have used, so I do know that I have no problems with Win RA9B or RA9TA in my PM9.

KiKi, I going to tell you what all of us should have told you from the very beginning. Only your gun can tell you what hollow point round feeds best in your gun. Try several different brands is different bullet weights and see which one your gun prefers. What works well in my gun may not work at all in yours and the reverse may also be true. Shoot it like you stole it and enjoy the ride.
