You're welcome.
Brownell's has quite a few instructional videos. The last one they advertised was removing a dent from a shotgun barrel. They have them on refinishing/repairing stocks, glass bedding the barrel, all kinds of good stuff.

It seems like KahrTalk needs a "Like" button system. :)
Despite owning the Ed Brown CD-Rom and hard copy booklet, this is easily the most complete and useful guide to 1911 maintenance I have ever seen.
Thank you, sir!

1911's need maintenance? Who knew?
thats cause they are 45/s and that round just gathers dust asit is so fokking slow coming out of the barrel. Now a 1911 9mm is anutter thing, no maintenance ever needed, u just shoot it like u stole it.:Amflag2:
I can always jtell a guy who has left the range ahead ofme of whaqt kind of a gun he was shootin. I just look on theground infrontof the shooting stand and normally there is a cup full of 8unburt powder there--Yup a 45 shooter.
So what are you trying to say JOCKO....?
45's are slow by design. You can see them coming, just can't get out of the way....LOL...
Really wouldn't want to get shot by any caliber but I would surely not want it to be a 45and that's for sure and for certain. So I guess I would have to disagree here on this one with Old JOCKO....the 45 doesn't need to be fast to get the job done. Slow, large diameter and heavy of caliber gets the job done and is a more efficient and reliable stopper. That's why the army and special forces & Navy Seals are returning to it once again...just Fokking works to quote JOCKO. LOL

I think the Beretta M9 is still the duty weapon of the army...

That's cause they don't want to hurt anybody. Many that are issued the M9 leave it behind.
The guys that get to pick what they want pick 45's, near everytime.
