Hey! The Halloween visitors are arriving in small bands of cheerful children, often with a watchful adult near the end of the driveway.
Believe it or not, the small boxes of raisins we chose this year are popular! :D
Life is good!

It was raining hard this evening. All the kids dressed as the Gorton's fisherman.

They nailed me pretty good this year. I ran out of Kit Kats and Hershey bars in less than an hour. I had to turn out the porch light and hide.

Very disappointing turnout this year. Only 32 kids and Zero little ones. All middle school or older. Only used a quarter of my stash. We usually see about 100. Weather was OK too.
"Thank You" heard often. Few kids but happy and polite ones.
BJ's warehouse carries a huge bag, (over 700 pieces) of Totsie Roll Minis for about $8. I buy two. Kids love them and I cut my candy bill down from about $80 to $16. Kids get a big handful... they like that!

Once again, ZERO trick or treaters. I love living out in the country. I don't miss the (I hate to say this, but it's true) minority High School age kids coming around in no costume and wanting candy at 9:00 and later. Porch light on or off, they don't care, they just go ahead and bang on your door. Half of them were bigger than I was at the time. Rude as hell, usually not even a thank you. Probably should have not answered the door, but I was always curious as to what type of idiot was out there banging on my door.

I always take a bite out of the candy bar and then throw it in their sack. Never seen the same people again :Amflag2:

I don't think we had a single one. Most of the kids in the neighborhood have grown up. Houses too far apart, dark etc.
Most I think are transported to high density areas with apartments and condo's so they can yield more haul per distance.
OK with me.

Another avg year (10 bags), some pretty good costumes. Wife got professional make-up and sat in the rocker waiting for the lil goblins then "Boo'd" them when they thought she was a prop....

Didn't have a lot of kids, maybe 25-30 ... but I did notice a lot of "thank you's". So Inended up with an unhealthy stash of my own.

blameit on the neighbor hood. No doubt all the neighbors areound u had treaters but you so u blame the entire neighborhood for your magnificient personality faults. What a cop out,
By the way colonel. today I signed a contract with APPLE and if u buy an apple Ipad and down load the JOCKO app, it will print every thread of mine perfectly, not a single spelling erro gets by the unit. Ask for the IPAD JOCKO and it comes with a kahr PMJ9 on the back of the case instead of theIPad logo and it comes in a camo color with DLC finish.. Pretty neet.. Apple see's this partnership as one that just copuld grow and grow and grow
:typing:
It will also be availalbe next year when theintroduce the Apple wrist computer. It willhave the JOCKO app installedin it and all u need to do is wave it in front of your computer now that has ANY JOCKO thread on it and BINGO. it instatly corrects it perfectly.
I realize this could spell the down fall of Jocko''s followng. It beats the hell oout of Bawann'as decoder ring., I will donate a dollar for every sale to ,,,the Joe Biden for President campain:Amflag2:
