There are only a handful of states left worth living in. The rest are already evil or are so far down the path of evil that they aren't worth a squirt of piss anymore. Obviously Maryland is in the latter group.

Call 911 when someone caves your door in. How friggin insane is that?

Exactly what did they think that was going to do, even if you had the time to do it?

I'd have done the same thing. Shoot until the threat stops. He did exactly that. This is what things are coming to. The law abiding citizens can't defend themselves without **** like this. Makes me sick.

Me too. It's not cheap, but I insure my business, my house, my health, my car...seems to be MORE important and necessary than any one of those these days given the political climate and litigious society we live in.

My fear is that firearms are made more and more 'evil', this type of insurance will go up and up and/or cease to exists. Insurance companies will not continue to be able to offer it once society as a whole, en-mass, frown on gun ownership and lawsuits soar and are decided against the gunowner. Kinda like trying to get flood insurance in a flood zone.

Anyway. Definitely something I'm looking at.

Hopefully the NRA will step in to help him. Yes, look into an umbrella policy of at least $1 mill of coverage beyond your normal basic coverage. Be sure you have enough basic coverage to bridge the gap support the minimum basic coverage required by the umbrella policy.

These legal issues and expenses go right along with the right to protect your life....so expect that in any state you live, regardless of what you may think. In crazy, crappy NY gun laws (adopted by politicians in NYC), just because someone breaks into your home and is advancing on you, you do not have the right to shoot that person. After all, (I was told), all they may want is to make a peanut butter sandwich and then leave you alone. You must first be able to prove that you used equal force against a threat on your life by use of a weapon. Your first reaction must be to retreat and call 911. It is a crazy law....considering someone just broke into your home and is advancing and threatening you. The guy is still alive and so is his family. But it is going to cost him....unfortunately. He can thank his wife for "befriending" the dead guy her husband had to shoot. There is always more to the story than what gets printed. It is what it is.

Check with your homeowners insurance. Mine says they will cover the costs of an attorney if I get arrested for using my weapon, as long as it was justified.

Also after you shoot the guy, you could call 911 and say the guy is just now entering your home, then hang up suddenly.

Stretching the truth will burn you every single time. Everything on 911 is recorded and time stamped.
If a neighbor hears the shots and notes the time your toast.

Best scenario is to actually shoot him while your on the line with 911, wimper and beg a lot, really play it up.

Please, please don't shoot me or hurt my family, I have the police on the line, they'll be here in 45 minutes, just leave, no no bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, sound of reloading, bang, bang, wife in background, I think the threat is over, it says in the rule book that when the face is completely obliterated the subject is most likely no longer a threat, bang, bang, bang.

Ok honey, no blue pill tonight.

I don't see a conviction here. It's a damn shame he would have to go through a trial. I hope the charges are dropped soon.

a million dollar rider. It cost me $180 a year, use dto be $100, but in that also is the mandate that I must carry 250-500K liavbility on all my vehicles also. insteadof the option of Indiana law which I think states minimum liabilioty is 25K. But if u have any assets the 180$ a year is comforting.

Indiana certainly the CSTLE DOCTRINE law would have prevailed. No charges would have happened. Here we go again, a man in his fokkig home defends his wife and friends and now it is gonna break him to clear himself. Why the judge upon reading two pages of probably cause didn't throw this out the window is besides me.

Call 911, give me a fokking break. The ol saying of WHEN SECONDS COUNT, THE POLICE ARE JUST MINUTES AWAY. iN THIS CASE THEY WERE 5 MINUTES:amflag:

course it delights me to read where 3 were killed i a barbershop shooting in Detroit. 9 people were shot. Then not to be outdone in Chicago one was kileed and 4 utter wonded including a 6 year old who was in a car by drive by shooting and then againol Chicago comes to the front the sameday a 28 year old man died and 3 utters were wounder in a drive by.

I ubet a dollar to a donut that all involved were of dark skinned color. :amflag:

Where is fat ass AL or Hair lip Jackson when u nee dum in Chicago, u gotta know why don't u????Its dark colored killing dark colored. Can't hang Zimmerman on this kind of killing.
