Just checked www.MidwayUSA.com (http://www.MidwayUSA.com) and they do have Rainier Leadsafe bullets in stock in 40 S&W. I didn't check other calibers.. However, I compared prices with Precision Delta and ordered through www.precisiondelta.com (http://www.precisiondelta.com) ....although I will wait about 18 weeks for them to arrive. I believe Precision Delta is better quality.

Also found the powder I use - Hodgden Longshot, at www.Natchezss.com (http://www.Natchezss.com) so I ordered with more small pistol primers....for my inventory. I was good before...but now I'm better. Wife will understand. :yo:

Gary if you dare to try something different check out the lead bullets with a baked on coatings

I have been loading bayou's Hi-Tec coated bullets. They tend to run fast and don't lead even the polygonal barrels. And we know they should not shoot lead . I'm running them in a TP 40. Also in a 1911 in 45 cal. still waiting to get to the 9mm. Got my order them in 4 days. There still small enough you have to call in an order and he can tell you if there in stock or when they will be. They have 100 round packs to try them out too.

I caught Georgia Arms crew at a area gun show and picked up 8lbs of hp-38 for 165 and a few thousand primers.

Others that sell there own label hi-tec coated bullets.

I will check them out. Thanks. I have a good supply currently, but was thinking of getting back into casting again. I have 100's of lbs of lead in storage. I was thinking of getting a new melting pot (mind is old and small - 1976) and a bullet sizer...if things continued to go down hill with the lead bullet market. Time will tell. But thanks for the info.

Looks like the prices are about $93 to 108 or so per 1000 plus shipping for the coated lead bullets. Precision Delta's FMJ's are priced at $130 per 1000 which includes shipping with a minimum order of 2000. So far the Precision Delta seems like a better quality deal to me, but there is a wait and the consumer needs to stay on top of their consumption to be sure the next order arrives in time. This scenario could change rapidly with the lead issue hanging over our heads. Time will tell. Thanks again for the info.
