Loved the PM9 so much, picked up a P380 - especially after i've had issues with other pocket 380s

Kahr P380 - new out of the box, couple drops oil
Winchester 92gr fmj
First 5 - perfect
Second 5 - perfect, very accurate, easy to shoot
Third 5 - perfect
Fourth 5 - perfect,
Fifth 5 - perfect
Sixth 5 - perfect
Seventh 5 - perfect
Eighth 5 - perfect
Ninth 5 - perfect
Tenth 5 - perfect
Remington Express 88gr jhp
First 5 - perfect
100% right out of the box

Diamondback DB380
Winchester 92gr fmj
First 5 - perfect
Second 5 - perfect
Third 5 - perfect
Fourth 5 - perfect, noticed front trigger pin crept out about 1/8th inch,
tapped back in
Fifth 5 - 5th round ftfire, dented primer - reran and fired - hate messing
with disturbed primers
Sixth 5 - perfect
98% - believe 3rd or 4th dented primer I've had since return from factory - otherwise continues to be MUCH improved and more consistent than ever

Kahr PM9 - second outing
Federal 115gf fmj
First 5 - ftf 2nd rd, nudged slide it and it feed right in, then perfect
Second 5 - perfect,
Third 5 - perfect
Fourth 5 - perfect,
Fifth 5 - perfect - shooting a little right, tapped front sight
Sixth 5 - perfect, better
Seventh 5 - perfect
Eighth 5 - perfect, still a little right, tapped front sight again
Ninth 5 - perfect, on target
Tenth 5 - perfect,
98% - except for the ftf and could have been my fault coming off just
shooting both the lighter 380s right beforehand (no pun intended)

PS wanted to wait for the blacked out P380 but availability is slim to none right now...

Good to see you here. After a bit of frustration you will enjoy the reliability and consistancy of your new weapons.

Good Luck enjoy!

Explain "tapped front sight." Did you move the front sight? If so how? With a punch? Thanks

the front sight with a good sight pusher but those kahr sights are very tight. Personally I would not mess moving the front sight as the base is normally much thinner and easy to damage. The back sight is fully adjustable R or L. which to me makes far more sense to move, as it is also beefier to..

yes, the range master used a brass rod and tapped the front sight both times - good tip on the moving the rear instead - hopefully it's set now - will advise...

That's really the kind of range reports that come from here, yes we have the usual suspects and a few problems, but over all, nothing bu quality.;)
