Anyone consider or try to mount a small accessory rail on the frame? I was just thinkin you could pretty easily mount something like this. I would like to have a flash light mounted.
But it's just as easily and better to carry a separate flashlight.

But when it comes down to it, a Kahr is meant for CC and accessories hanging from ur pistol isn't CCable that well.

I would never do it to a cm or PM model. those IMO are pocket guns, so no need. On the cw or P frames, it might be doable, but I question the real need for it. MMany today would want glocks without the fokking rail on them. I know I would. jUST SAYIN
I just never considered the rail to be a MUST have on any gun I own.

True.
I was thinkin it would be nice to have a pistol for the house with a light mounted. But I would prefer to leave the Kahr the way it is and just get something that has a rail already. Keep the house gun and carry gun separate.
I was just wondering if someone tried it.

Several outfits make rails, Dawson Precision makes a nice one for 1911's. I thought of adding one to my 14-45 Para LDA and throwing my night stand Glock 21 with light away, keep the light of course.
I kind of figure when something goes bump in the night I'll use the G21 as a light in the weak hand, and the 1911 with no light in the right.
Of course this is extremely challenging in a manual wheelchair where both hands are needed for propulsion.
Maybe I'll just get my rest and let the wife take care of business.

A man must work from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done. Now that's my kinda philosophy.

Yes, I agree, and probably safer, too. Here's why.
You are awakened by a bump in the night. You reach over, feeling for your spouse, and confirm she's in bed. Where did the noise come from? What caused it? Your mind is racing, trying to clear the fog of slumber.
Your hear noise again. Someone is beating on your door. This is real. It's not a dream. It's not your imagination. You spring out of bed and holler to your wife to take cover on the side of the bed while you grab your pistol and run down the hall to retrieve your kid.
Just as you enter your kid's room, you hear the smashing of glass. And then voices. Not only has your door been breached, but there are multiple thugs entering your house. How many, you wonder?!! This is your worst nightmare!
You rush into your kid's room and run straight to the bed. The kid is not there! That can't be?!! In disbelief, you turn on your light so your eyes can verify what your hands and brain are telling you. The bed is empty! Frantically, you begin scanning the room with your light. Your mind is racing. Your heart is pounding. Has the kid left the room? Will the thugs find your kid before you do? Panic! Finally, you see your kid huddled in the corner, scared to death. You rush over to grab the kid, following the beam of your.....weapon-mounted-light!
. . . . . and then you realize, that not only were you pointing your gun at your kid, but in that moment of panic, you had your finger on the trigger.

A bit dramatic, I know, but this is the reason the guys I've trained with, stress the importance of learning to work with a hand-held light.

Roger that. A tool for every purpose.
