Buy 2 brands as sometimes a handgun may not like what you have.

I use the cheapest non-steel-cased stuff... only 230-grain. I haven't had a problem with any specific ammo. I use a lot of Blazer... mostly aluminum... for all calibers and use the standard weight for each caliber... 230-grain for .45, 124-gr for 9mm, 180-gr f0r .40, and 90-95 grains for .380(no flat points)... and only bonded bullets for defense.

For defense, I carry Speer 230-grain Short Barrel Gold Dots and also have the BONDED Remington 230-gr Golden Sabers. BJHP=Brass Jacketed Hollow Points.
