Fl /cw 380 first range report

Told you guys I found a CW 380 at LGS last Satty. Finally got to shoot it today.

Ran thru the check and lube in Kahr Tech section as per Jocko, et, al.

Put three different brands of .380 ammo thru it this morning for a total of 100 rounds without a single hiccup of any kind.

My break in goal was to put as many rounds as I could thru it in the shortest possible time frame. So I loaded and shot as fast as I could thru the ammo.

Have arthritis in my hands so quit while I was ahead but will do another hundred rounds by this time next week and report back.

But, I am very happy with this Kahr (just like my flawless P9 (2002) and the CM9 I bought a couple of months ago.

Fyi, the range is at my #2 LGS and they too had a new CW 380 on the shelf this morning for $ 399. I bought my mine last week at another LGS.

Keep the faith brothers, apparently Kahr has opened the gates on this wonderful little gun.

I don't think that we're going to see the problems with the CW380 that we did with the P380. Most of the bugs have been worked out.

I'm new to this so just a amateurish question. Kahr announced the CW 380 at the shot show in January. Did Kahr make like like, 25,000 of these guns and stack them in a warehouse for a huge shipment now to lots of LGS at the same time or how does that work?

I think that Kahr was pretty busy filling orders for guns already in production. This probably caused the delayed release of the CW380. At least that is the explanation that I heard that makes the most sense to me. I could be wrong.
I had a few issues the first time I shot my CW380 (posted in another thread). The second time at the range I put 100 rounds downrange with no issues.
