I have an opportunity to buy a CA compliant P380 but I'm concerned about the mag safety. I'm in Fl so no safety is required. Is the mag safety easy to disable or remove? The CA guns also have a loaded chamber indicator but I can live with that. Any other differences?

Just a thought - you may have some legal problems if you disable the mag disconnect and have to use the gun in a SD situation. I don't know but you may just want to wait for an non California P380.

that would be the last of my worries. Just sayin IO I would think if u alter sumpin that is the law, then ur ass could be hurt, but if u alter sumpin that is an addition or cosmetic, then more than likely you would be OK.; Again I stand my by first sentence, which is spelled absolutel;y perfect ..

I don't see anything wrong with eliminating the mag safety for your own personal use, but I'd save the parts in case you want to sell it at a later date. The only way it might cause you a problem is if a negligent discharge occurs.

My question was: is it difficult to remove? Anybody done it?
