I have been thinking about a CM 9 for summer carry a lot lately. Even bid on one a GB but backed out when the price went up. So two days ago I saw one in local pawn shop. It was used and marked at 389. Well the sales guy said the gentleman who originally bought it was a large fellow with big hands. Long story short he brought it back without out shooting it. To small for his hands. I went back today and asked for the best deal out the door. Guy says I'll take 350 OTD. Yeah, I'll take that.
Been fluffing and buffing it and racking the slide most of the afternoon. Man this little sucker is tight! Any way I was very pleased to find one like new for that price. Range report and pictures will follow. :amflag:

Fair price! You'll love it. You're doing the right thing racking the slide over and over. Yes, they are very tight. It'll loosen up slightly, very slightly, after about 300 rounds. Have fun.

Nothing but 100% flawless operation out of my new CM9 for the first 220 rounds. It is a pleasure to carry and shoot!

Clean and lube that sucker like jocko in the bathroom at the airport and she'll run like a champ.

That is good to hear. I believe this one will be OK too. It is tight now but after about 400 slide racks it has smoothed out some. I have had two CW9s that were the same way but they ran flawless.

I have noticed that there is a huge difference in the triggers on my T40 and K9 versus this CM9. The SS models are like silk in comparison. But I am sure the CM will get better with some rounds thru it.

The trigger will smooth out, but for the ultimate trigger install a 5# striker spring from Wolff Gun Springs.

Got that done already. I carried it everywhere today. It is amazing how much difference the shorter grip makes as far as concealment goes. The CW9 grip would print with most of my daily wear. But I am much more satisfied in that regard with the CM. Hope to take it out tomorrow and put some rounds thru it. :)

I had a CM9 and had to sell it to catch up on the bills. The bills are paid and I have found a used one on Armslist for $325. I will be picking it up tomorrow morning. The seller says he only put one magazine through it and needs money for another gun project.

Why is everybody always so enamored with a low round count ... Kahrs improve with age ... don't they?

I guess we're saying we are pleased to get one that isn't beat all to crap. I prefer new, but if I can save a few bucks by buying one that's like new, then I will certainly do that. But I get your point to. Since I just bought a used T40 that has a good number of rounds thru it and man it is smooth as silk. I am sure a lot of that is just the nature of the T series, but I also know it is well broken in to. :amflag:

I got a few minutes to run the CM9 thru the paces. It ran great. 100 rounds no trouble at all. Two things I noticed. It is very accurate for such a small pistol and it handles recoil pretty well again for such a small pistol. I already mentioned above about how easy it is to conceal. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I took a couple of pictures of the CM9 and also of my K9. I brought it along to check the CT laser for adjustment, since it is my main carry I like to check it now and then. It only took one 7 round magazine to see that I should not make any laser adjustments. HEHE.

Nice! I made a holster for my buddy CM9 and he loves it. He says he doesn't even know it's there.

My CW45 is a bit more noticeable and have considered gettin a CM9 as well. You got a good deal. They go a bit higher by me.

Acasper, yes I think I got a good deal as well. Most that I saw were in the high 300s or low 400s. The CW45 must pack a pretty good punch. Nice holster by the way.

I bought mine new used at a gun range.... looked new. It has been great.

Try and register it on line. Chance is the previous owner did not register it. There is no real indication the registration went through. They will not notify you, and if you call they will not tell you.

Can't hurt.

I will do that. I am reasonable sure the owner did not register it. I will try it.
