The ONLY gun I ever sold in my life was a CM9 due to my wife's issues with racking the slide and the LC9 I have. I regretted it the MOMENT I sold it! Dunno why, didn't really miss the gun, just regretted selling it. So, the opportunity arose to get another DIRT CHEAP, new in box and I jumped on it. So, I have a new CM 9. Will I carry it? Dunno. I know I am going to shoot the snot out of it, get it broke in and see how it goes. It might be my desk or glove box gun?? At least now I know how to break them in and what clean, etc... We'll see how this little guy grows on me............

Yes, welcome back.
I've sold a few and later regretted but have never bought the same model back again.
Of the three carry pistols I have mu PM9 far and away gets carried the most. I believe your CM9 once proved reliable would make a great carry gun. I hope you give it a try.

I was holding out hoping I would find a K or MK locally. I never did, and I got a great deal on this one as it kind of fell into my lap. I'm going to clean it well, then go run 3-400 rounds through it (on it's first day) and see what happens. I figure it will work, or it will go back to Kahr.

Am getting close to 2000 rounds through my CM9 without a single problem. Totally sold on it. Super easy to conceal. It is my constant companion. Good luck with yours!

That's good to hear! I'm going shoot it as I stole it as they say and see what happens. Hopefully I'll have the same luck!

Welcome back.
Have your wife try working the slide again once the gun is well broken in, she may be surprised at how much easier it works.
Plus when working the slide she needs to push with the dominant hand while pulling with the off hand. She also can increase her force by using her shoulders (I hope I can explain this well). Stand sideways with the gun pointing down range and bring the gun closer to
your/her chest (it's like having a grapefruit sitting 4 or 5 inches above of your sternum and you are trying to squash it using both hands/arms) get all your/her strength behind it.
I'm probably really messing up the explanation, maybe another forum member can do it better. All I know is that I'm a small woman with hand issues and using these techniques
I can handle my PM9 without any issues at all.
Good luck

AIR, thanks for the info, but she's already really good at doing what you are saying, she has a G-19 that she loves, as well as a PPQ, and a CZ- 75 compact. I highly doubt she'll ever mess with the Kahr. We try to keep on the same platform when traveling together, so it's usually Glocks. She's found her "favorite / comfy zone" so I will leave well enough alone. I imagine this CM9 will end up as a BUG...........

Well, it sounds like you folks are good to go.
However, if she ever wants to carry the Kahr as a BUG she could use a Flash
Bang bra holster as a back up. Just another option.
I sure like her choice of a CZ. It have an SP 0-1 tactical and hope to buy a CZ
85. The 85 is just like the CZ 75 B but all the controls are ambi.

I hope so! I may have to look into the flash bang bra holster for her. The CZ is a fantastic sidearm, but it is heavy. The 85's are awesome as well!

I have a lot of different carry guns but my CM9 gets carried 60% of the time. It just seems to fit every occasion well. Congrats on the CM9!
