Early Christmas Present

My Christmas gift from my wife, a set of elephant ivory grip panels from Jim Alaimo of Nutmeg Sports, LLC for my re-issue Colt Series 70 .45 ACP.

This is my third set of ivory grips that I've purchased from Nutmeg. Jim never fails to satisfy as to the quality of his work.

Canon 40d w/ a Canon EF-S 17-55/2.8 lens.

Actually I had a difficult time capturing the nice grain in the panels. I was too lazy to set up my light box and I used natural light.
