I have purchased inner and outer recoil springs for my P380 from Kahr website.Springs I got are about 1/2 inch longer than original springs that were installed in my P380 which I purchased about 6 months ago.I had some problems installing new springs and after installing them it just doesn't feel right.
I called Kahr and got one very arrogant, rude, condescending guy and I was unable to get any help or any information from him.
Does anybody have any similar experience?I would appreciate any information about this matter

I'm expecting a package of spare parts and springs from Kahr in a couple days. I'll compare them to the factory recoil springs and let you know. My P380 is also new.

All springs will shorten after use. You may find the new springs are similar to the old ones after use.

All springs are designed to work and be the correct length after taking a set. Don't ever shorten a spring to the same size of the old one. It will be too weak very quickly!

Read the FAQ's here at Wolff Gunsprings... the company that makes all of Kahr's springs:

time before calling kahr and get a sh!t face guy, come here first. We have alot of sh!t face guys here to but they are knowledeable. . All springs take a predesiged set so your good to go. Save ur old ones if the gun was working OK with the old ones, I would have left um in there. they outta be good minimum 1000 rounds ad I would doubt u have that many rounds out of that 380. What u might encounter in the frist 100 or so rounds with the new springs is some failure to lock open on the last round, unless ur shooting hot defense ammo Normally the fmj lower priced ammo on a new set of 380 springs for some can give failure to lock open, this will dissappear as the springs take their set. If in doubt load a magazine with +P 380 ammo and see how nice it works. Just sayin
