I have been following this guy's YouTube channel for a few months now who I first learned about from the Taurus forum. He has a great (final) thread on YouTube that I found interesting by testing the best .380 defensive ammo for his TCP. This guy (who I don't know from Adam) put in a lot of time and effort to come up with the best 380 round for his pistol. So if you get a chance check out his final results here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNtPHYwcDts). Its very well done. You can also go to his channel and see individual tests on each ammo tested.

If forced to carry a 380 (and believe me, I would have to be physically forced to) I would go with the hottest FMJ I could find.

Thanks for the link!
I'm stocked up on Hydrashoks but I'll have to give Precision One a try as well. That is really outstanding penetration for an expanded .380. Almost too good to believe, but it's hard to argue with the results when 4 of his top 5 used the XTP bullet. I also like how he fires at least 4 or 5 rounds per block instead of 1 round. A larger sample size equates to a more valid conclusion.

Ammo is coming back pretty significantly around here except .22s. Those things have vaporized???

I prefer FMJ in sub calibers, but both of my mini guns are LWSs and one requires the use of shorter round (H.P.) and the other recommends a certain couple brands of the same. however, considering that these are ENT guns to supplement a minor or major caliber gun, im ok with that.
