I love the P238 idea but I'd not carry one in my pocket cocked and locked. The P238 is like a Colt .380 government model I've had since 1988 which is great but just not for pocket carry.
The Kahr DA only and others like it are the type I like for pocket carry.

Hmmm.... Looks like a cw380 is better suited for that
Certainly a lot cheaper.

After shooting my friends SIG 238, I'd be inclined to go with the Kahr too. That 238 is pretty pricey for a .380. It's just like a mini 1911, just like a Colt Mustang. SA, to be carried locked and cocked.

There are plenty of good holster-able 9mms out there that kinda relegate 380s to pocket carry duty. I too am not comfortable cocked and locked in my pocket (did that sound weird? You know what I mean). So the Kahr is an obvious winner IMO.

I'm totally comfortable with cocked and locked pocket carry of all 1911 type pistols provided that they are pocket carried in a pocket holster.
