Took it out for a second spin today. Yesterday I ran 100 flawless rounds through it. Today I added another 150. Only problem I had was the very last shot which didn't leave the slide open. Wondering about that... Any ideas?
This little gun has grown on me. I still prefer my Glock 26, but that's another story.
I also can verify that for me shooting this gun two handed leads to some painful trigger finger moments, especially when the recoil of the gun's flip mashes the inside of the trigger guard against my trigger finger. Painful. Actually punishing.
When switching to shooting it one handed that goes away.
Is this gun not intended to be shot two handed?
Edit: I just figured out why my trigger finger is getting the business when shooting two handed. My very firm grip of the supporting hand is crunching my trigger finger down when the gun flips up and my left thumb slips off the front part of the receiver. Have to figure out what to do about that... Idea: stipple that area on the lower receiver so my thumb stays put. Next little project........

Thanks for the report:)
If the slide only failed to lock back on your very last shot of the day, I'd probably chalk it up to "user interface disconnect" (probably a thumb in the way of the slide stop; been there, done that myself).
Regards,
Greg
You got a little tired.....

You got a little tired.....
That's true. And my trigger finger was aching.
Since then, I've realized that I need to have way less of my trigger finger on the trigger. That will eliminate the problem. Just have to adapt.

I think you're right.
Also possible that a little bit of powder residue just slightly mucked something up just enough for the slide to not have slammed back as it usually does. I may have slightly limp wristed too. Whatever.

Definitely work on your grip techniques. I regularly shoot all guns two handed and my first time with my CM9 I put 350 rounds through it and didn't find the gun punishing at all. I find muzzle flip to be minimal and actually think the Kahr may be more comfortable to shoot than the G26
The smaller grip of the Kahr may require you to change things up a bit. I have very small hands and short fingers so it works fine for me.

coulda even been a low powered round to, If it goes bang, that is #1 thingj. What everyone above mentioned cold be the culprit to. Nuttin is perfect, even the shooter. A good gun is a good matingof shooter and gun. gotta have both to be reliable.

First thing I did was stipple the front part of the receiver near the front of the gun for about an inch, and created a ledge of polymer so my reaction hand thumb has a place to press into when shooting. I've modified all my pistols in this manner, and it works for me. In practice, my left thumb presses strongly into and on that ledge, which helps keep muzzle flip to a minimum. It also helps a bit to counteract some of the pulling of shots low and left that I have a problem with. When I go to the range, I'm not engaged in bullseye style target shooting, but aggressive combat style shooting, and the result of that, for me, is that some shots get pulled low left. It's a trigger control issue, but I believe in shooting at the range as if my life depended on it, so I try to shoot with that in mind. That ledge helps keep the gun on an even keel, and helps keep it on target.
When I went today, that ledge, coupled with having less of my trigger finger on the bang button helped a lot. No more sore trigger finger.

I get a blister on my trigger finger from getting it pushed into the slot where the trigger rides on my CM9. It happens after maybe 10 shots or so. But I don't worry because I found the solution.....I wear a band aid on the trigger finger when I shoot that gun.
I used to have a CW9; it did the same thing so I sold it. I have no intention of selling the CM though.
