I would love it if Kahr came out with a CM series in 357 Sig or at least a conversion barrel for the CM40.
Anyone else?
Any chance?

So my best bet would be using some 135 gr 40 s&w ammo made by Underwood for similar performance?
I guess...I'm fine w/ 9mm or even .380??
If I feel that under gunned...I'm grabbing the rifle.

I fear no man w/ my 9mm handguns. I might loose the draw. I might die if it comes to that. But it won't be b/c of choosing 9mm. I sleep just fine at night and my hands don't hurt after a 3-4 hour session at the range.
You don't need 'similar performing' ammo to get the job done. You need adequate expansion and penetration. Both can be achieved with 40 or 9mm, just like 357 Sig. Check out any of the upper crust SD rounds and the various tests out there. I'd start with PDX1, Critical Duty, Gold Dots, Ranger Bonded, yadda yadda. Plenty of good rounds out there for either caliber.

I no longer bash cals. I shot a small, light 357 revolver once (my son-in-laws). He paid good money for it. If anyone feels the 40 is obnoxious, that gun, in that cal was the most nasty gun I've ever handled. I don't care to shoot it again. But I guess, some guys might like the 357 and might be very good with it. It certainly packs a wallop and for SD there is no questioning its' ability.

Yup, everybody should go shoot a .357 revolver, preferable a ~13oz Ruger LCR or a Smith 340PD. Just for the sake of saying (ouch) I did that, now give me my 9mm back.

yup, the 357 in the smith J frame air weight are just not fun guns to shoot. 38 spl is enough IMO.

not a chance but wishful thinking.

I'm still waiting on the CM45, although an MK45 would be even better.
I like the .357 SIG round.
I still have the capability to reload for it and at times I do.
I used to have a G32 that shot quite well. I qualified with it carried it for awhile.
I had a G33 bbl. for my G27 that could create a rather interesting fire ball when fired indoors. :D
I have a KKM barrel in .357 SIG for my G35 and it is a tack driver.
Given all of that, I don't think the PM or CM line of Kahr pistols with their short barrels are a good platform choice for the .357 SIG.
I think recoil would be harsh.
The .357 SIG will never die out as long as LE agencies, especially federal agencies, use it as their issue caliber choice.
