This one is at James Yeager's school. Let me know what you think about the photographer shooting pictures from between targets.

This one is from some other school, during part of it they are practicing shooting with one arm being put out of commission.

Both of these videos are getting quite a bit of negative feedback, particularly Yeager's. Where I also thought he and the photographer were acting like idiots.

With the sophistication of editing tools, I never know if I can believe my eyes anymore. But if this is real, it's unbelievable.

The second video is much more credible.

there's no way that's happening with a Kahr. Heel reload? Gotta be a loose sloppy fire anything at all, G(B)lock.

Not the first camera man with a death wish.

Some were commenting that the target was such a short distance that the shooters were very unlikely to hit the photographer, my answer was what if someone sneezed as the trigger broke and sent the bullet off to the side a couple feet. Dead Photographer. I guess they are not familiar with Murphy's law, that anything that can go wrong, usually will.
The other video I wasn't so critical of. Showed some unique ways to reload with one arm out of commission. Not sure I'd use my heel, but you never know. And I suppose if you could find yourself in a spot where you had to draw the gun upside down and use your pinky to squeeze the trigger. The only part I had a problem with was holding the gun sideways "gangsta style" I can't think of a situation that would be necessary, but I haven't been in any gun fights or combat or anything.

The third video showed a lot of modern technique taught to 'high speed-go faster" folks. Nothing shown there that is out of the normal handgun handling rubrics. There is a lot of slide release use taught now that was frowned upon only a few years ago. I didn't see that in the video.

Shooting at a camera with a person attached is pretty careless. That's why tripods are used by those people not terminally stupid.

Just plain brain dead stupid all around (photographer, shooters, video recorder, range officer and everyone else at that range that saw it going on but did nothing to stop it).

You only have to look at James Yeager to discern that he isn't playing with a full deck and listening to him removes all doubt.

I e-mailed him about this right after it appeared. He was very defensive and challenging. Yeager has a lot of issues and this is a classic example of one of them. Here is another one of his many beauties.

The videos in the OP are no longer in the links.

But I've seen things like what is described. Seems like you could get a remote powered camera if you really wanted pictures like that. Put 1/4" Lexan in front of it if you think the shooters will hit it.

I won't comment about the other things, well maybe! Just remember that you CANNOT fix stupid.

However when I was was in the police academy they did teach us to weak hand draw and fire the pistol upside down. NO LIVE FIRE HOWEVER!!!!! Think what you will about that!!!
