Being a firm believer in the proper tool for the job and admitting that a gun isn't always the best answer although I still believe it is in 99.7% of the time, I've been accumulating an assortment of sharp pointy things.

I wasn't born with this malady, it was passed onto me AGAIN by GB, he started it. It's fun due to the history, and the Gurka's and the many varieties.

Anyhow I wanted to make a rack where I could easily access them when I get the urge to fondle or when someone comes over and wants show and tell. I've already got more stuff in my small man cave than is humanly possible but I'm squeezing in more.

I utilized the end of a closet that I can't access, it was kind of a dead space. Wish I'd known I was gonna be a derelict when I built the addition, I surely would have done a few things differently.

Anyhow, bawanna's new knife drawer for your viewing pleasure.
Now you see it.

Used like a barn door trolley system, works well. Weight definitely not an issue.

This ones probably over 100 years old, a friend down in Texas sent it to me, another fella sent me the little utility tool that are probably about the same age. Way cool.

Greg, I finally got a Foxy Folly, 3rd from the bottom, I like it, light and fast but narly looking
The top one is the RR Amtrak Kami WWII that infected me with this sharp pointy thing addiction.

Nice:D
I have a few pointy things too, most fit in my pocket though.
One closes different than the rest and managed to bite the back of my international peace sign finger, to the bone, during a recent fondle session:(

My wife saw humor in that, me, not so much

Now that is nice. I'm trying to figure out how to do something like that for my guns.

I really want to know what came in that CZ box that was on the shelf ???

Oh man, that s nice. I remounted a older fixed 6x scope on mine last Thursday and got it sighted in for a squirrel head shot at 25-50 yards. Those rifles can put .22 mini mags through almost the same hole at 25 yards and about the same at 50.

If you haven't got out to shoot it yet I want to hear how it goes when you do. It does as well with the irons as a scope if your eyes will permit it. Mine won't so that's where the scope comes in.

I don't see any Ginsu knives in his collection though. From the television ads, they could cut through almost anything. Probably take a tank apart with one of those things without dulling it a bit. With one of those, his collection really would be a cut above.

I was looking at machete's the other day, and almost bought a Kukri, but ended up with a pretty sweet machete for just over $20, with free shipping. 18.5" 440 stainless steel blade with a saw top, with a handle with the knuckle guard that runs from the front to the end of the handle. And has a sharpened point, instead of a squared off blade tip. Useful against weeds and two legged varmints. I think this might work about as well as a Kukri:

I think an eye patch and a peg leg are required for that. Looks pretty nice for 20 bucks.

I did a little trade deal and got another knife for the rolling knife rack. It's a wicked scary thing being sharp top and bottom. A good one to make sure your paying attention or you'll get cut kind of knife.

Yes on all counts pretty much. I dig old stuff of all kinds, guns, knives, people. The sks went to live with Pugs in a good trade deal. I got a very nice ole 22. Neither the sks or the 22 had been shot. I think I got the better deal but both happy I think.
