Where to go for front strap checkering?

I'm looking for suggestions on where to get the front "grip strap" area of my K40 checkered. Any help? Thanks in advance. Rob.

I've never had it done, would sure like to. I know Robar in AZ does it, imagine most larger shops offer it. Jeepsters favorite Ahlmans, I'm sure could do it.

I can't endorse anyone since I never had it done but there's lots of options.

Where do you live Rob? You could try to google custom gunsmithing or pistol smithing for your state. Metal work is not inexpensive.
