Let me start by saying I love my CM9 and it has functioned flawlessly thus far. I have about 250 rounds through it now but have found one of my magazines has developed a crack in the follower. What should my course of action be now at this point?

Call Kahr or e-mail Kahr service. Explain the problem. Proceed as directed by Kahr service. Works for me.

Did you experience the cracked follower issue as well? If so, how was the problem solved?

Just spoke with someone at Kahr and they are sending me a new follower and said if it breaks again, I'll need to send the pistol in. From doing the check described here, I think the pistol will continue to crack the followers.

I'd either send it back or try to take some off the feed ramp.

likely it willbreakanutterfollower, butthatbeinsaid Ibrokeoneinmy PMJ9afew years back and after32K roundsit has neverdone it again.Kahr willfix itbut for some reason some guns doshoot them selves out of that broken follower scenario.Keep an eye on it,IMO letkahr do the ramp work, They made it they know exactly whereit needs to be done.:amflag:

I don't feel comfortable doing the "rampectomy" myself....mainly for the possibility of voiding my warranty. I don't have a problem sending the pistol back to Kahr and giving them the chance to make it right, as I love how easy the pistol carries and shoots. I have other pistols that I can carry while the Kahr is away.
