Want an excuse to buy Bawanna Grips

I just bought a Cw45 and so much wanted to buy a pistol that could order one of wonderful grips by our guy Bawanna. Hopefully next time it will happen. Been looking at 1911's and too damn many with so little money.

This is not an advertisement. Just lusting after grips whiletrying to get a grip

We just opened gifts here and my oldest son got me a Remington R1. I need to beat him for spending so much but I been wanting one a long time.
It has a great trigger right out of the box.

He got himself the enhanced version with the beavertail and fiber optic front sight and nice grips. Trigger not nearly as good on his but it will be.


I wanted exactly what he got me without beavertail etc so I can do a Greg wide spur hammer. It's blued, kind of wanted stainless but none to be found around here and it's already growing on me very rapidly.


Maybe if I just send you some grips it will speed up your 1911 desire some. I've done that in the past.

Some woods go nice on blue or stainless, maybe lebanese wood?

Don't you get too enthused now because as I said I just bought a CW and time needs to pass a while before thinking of another. It doesn't take to much to get a creator like yourself to working does it?

Nope but I work real slow. Another week and its a whole new year. Clean slate, start over...........

Hey honey I got that CW last year.......

I've had the R1 5 or 6 hours now and it's still wearing stock grips. I'm gonna try to go all day tomorrow (show and tell at work) before I swap em. They ain't terrible but they could use a little help.

Its settin in my lap as we speak. Bonding don't ya know.
