CW380 1st range trip

Just got back from the range for the first go round with the CW380. Best trip I've had in quite some time, regardless of weapon. Shot some Magtech, Herters, WWB and Hornady Critical Defense. Everything went without a hitch and I gotta say...what a fun gun to shoot! The accuracy I got out of this thing was pretty awesome...especially considering my less than stellar abilities.

Do you intend to carry the .380? If so what SD ammo are you going to carry in the gun?

I will be alternating between the CM9 and the CW380. I don't always carry SD ammo in my 380's - especially in colder weather where heavier clothing is more prevalent. I like to go with flat nose FMJ ammo or, when I do use SD, I usually go with Hornady Critical Defense.

I used to carry a .380 a couple of decades ago. I sometimes alternated with SD HP and FMJ, (in the same magazine) especially in the winter. I'm reading a lot about that CW in these threads and really hear good things about it.

I usually alternate within a magazine with SD and FMJ for everyday carry, especially in the winter. I even do this with my CM9. Now I'm no expert, I just go by what makes some sense, to me.
