PM9 Recoil Spring Assembly

While shopping for parts at the Kahr website, I noticed that they offer a new style and an old style recoil spring assembly for the PM9. Could someone give me a brief history of why there was a change? Thanks.


I also saw that the CM9 does not have the same recoil spring assembly choice.

On the PM there was the original what we call blunt nose style and then a newer tapered nose. The newer version is just a nano longer than the old style.

The CM hasn't been out nearly as long and hasn't gone through any variation changes.

Both PM's are very nice and many actually prefer the older blunt nose but certainly nothing wrong with the tapered version either.
