And now for something totally different:
Nine minutes... unbelievable. Note where the reporter is standing near the end.:eek:Some German is helpful, but not necessary!

I saw that recently. Personally I'd rather take on that BF lion that Jocko posted awhile back. That operator is one of the bravest or most insane guys I've ever heard of.
I had no idea a track hoe had enough beans to lift itself. I've run those things very little but a few times, we're talking lots of weight.

Yeah, that's not your average "track hoe" and the announcer says repeatedly 15,000 KG ~ 33,000 pounds... and not even a helmet. He had a seat belt, though. That reporter was nuts!
The picture is neat, too.
I tested my generator for about an hour with the first hour under load. I wanted to run some of the Gumout through it. I have about 10 to 12 UPSs and it gets noisy, which is why I have them. The generator is not well-regulated.
Next projects: van oil change and lawn tractor service... when I stop procrastinating....
A NOTE... iF YOU GO LOOKING FOR GUMOUT, IT'S IN A SMALLER BOTTLE... IMPROVED 2x... same cost for half the volume.
I trust Tiny is well-cleaned and rarin' for another trip to the range.:)

Oh yeah, Tiny's all ready to go and hanging proudly and inconspicuously near my left foot as we speak. If detected it's unemployment for Bawanna. What price security? He's raising quite the interest amongst the guys here though, the talk is starting to pickup. Course most of the guys know about my crossing the rule lines so no worries. When they request show and tell, I have to go get him. They usually just say no ones looking, I'll turn my back.
You want me to send you down a Wilson mag for trial and eval in boomer or you gonna get one locally or on line. I'm curious if I just have a fluke here or the Wilson will run in all PM45s.

Thanks, but that's okay. I have plenty of magazines for Boomer. I'm still trying others out at the gun shows. For grins, I may get a 10 or 15-rounder... with metal follower... preferably stainless and of decent manufacture. I tried one at the lesser guns show and it "fit" and held the slide back... but it was a real bear to release the slide with the lever. I'm still looking for something to put together a 6-shot flush-fitting magazine. I can use the 5-shot mag and put the Brolin Arms follower and spring in it and cram 6 rounds in there, but I haven't tested that... other than cycling snap caps though it. That follower has no front part and I'm not sure it's original to the BA 7-shot magazine, so I have to use the "custom" spring... a 7-shotter. The follower and spring would work with a welded-base magazine.
It's not like I NEED a six-shot flush-fitting magazine, but it would be nice.
Wifey's on break today and tomorrow so I'm trying not to get too busy and sweaty. I have to cook tonight, but it's not a big deal... frozen fish into oven 12 minutes on a side and nuke the side dishes. I will probably grill tomorrow night.
I haven't noticed any grass sprouts... 2 weeks now... or more. I need to get the mower around to the front and chain or cable it in place. I still have large 1/2"eye-bolts in the concrete pad for my boat... the ones near the garage. I mowed one down and finally removed the other on that side... too rough on the mower blades... very loud unsettling noise... CLANK... Clank... oops!

I have already had thoughts of a flush mag as well. Be kind of nice. I keep thinking I wanna order some of the extended mags like you showed with the little extra pad on the bottom but have to constantly remind my self I have a dozen Wilson mags that will get the job done. Guess this is exactly why me and money never manage to stay together for very long? That and wife, kids, house, cars, democrates, it never seems to end.

"democrates"...? Is that your dog's name... as in Greek history?
Democrates (Greek: Δημοκράτης) a Pythagorean philosopher, concerning whom little is known.
You could try one of the Wilson followers and its spring with the Kahr tube and base parts. If you can get 6 in there... UpLula helps... it might be worth sacrificing a spring by clipping off a coil or two and get a tiny bit more room... risky for the spring, as it may get too weak to operate the slide lock and hold the slide open. I'm thinking of trying one of those "upgrade kits" to add another round to existing magazines and adjusting the spring to give more room. Whatever you or I come up with will have to be 100% reliable for defensive carry. I wouldn't mind a flush-fitting metal base, too, but the PM45 grip is really nice with the 5-shot's plastic base.

I'm perfectly content with 5, I'd love a metal flush fitting mag just cause. After all it's a 45, how many is it gonna take?
That plus it's a bug for a full size Para most times so if it's deployed in bug mode, things are already terribly terribly ugly in my world. I'd be calling for backup without doubt. I did just check for another Galco Ankle holster, they don't have the good one for Tiny yet, they have the glove which isn't any better than the Uncle MIkes that I have now. It's really not bad, forget it's there. Ohh yeah, I usually forget my legs there too, unless I look. My bad.

Oh, I have a Beagle (almost a dog but without a brain). I wouldn't name him democrate on a bet. There are animal cruelty laws in washington.

A good source for discounted Galco is Optics Planet (http://www.opticsplanet.net/galco-ankle-glove-holsters.html). The ankle holster came right up. I just received one of the tapered belts from them yesterday. They shipped the same day I ordered.

Wow, you had me for a minute. It's a little deceiving. ON sale 18 bucks, not sure what that is? Add 52 for the holster. That price sounds like the neoprene one size fits many but the picture is the ankle glove which is form fitted to specific guns. They don't list the PM45 yet, only the K40. Galco's website doesn't list the PM45 in this holster yet either. But that is the exact holster I have for my K40 and it's great. I paid over a 100 bucks for it as I recall. We're in fine shape for awhile.
I've bought lots of stuff for myself and the guys around here from Optics Planet, never any problems and usually a good price.
The galco I have is darn close to working, the thumb strap is just a tad short. I might even try to stretch it or have a leather guy modify it slightly. Be a nice option if I could leave it and stretch it too. It fits my compact 1911's perfectly too as is.
